Friday, 27th March

Some girls had gone off to the craft show but it was still the usual happy and noisy (at times) group. There were delicious scones for morning tea and the recipe provided, thankyou. Most of us were to shy to mention how radiant Kay and Julia looked after using their new beauty product - it is value for money.

Jelena's sampler quilt looks stunning in the monotones.

Martha is a beautiful belle -

Jo's scrap quilt.

Another wonderful scrap quilt - this is Julia's log cabin with the traditional red centre square the use of blues and aquas makes the quilt sparkle.

Jo has made another lovely heart quilt this one is for a friend.

This is Emma with her friend who is wearing her embroidered jacket and a real bird's feather in her cap.

Friday 27th February

A small group made a short visit to Murwillumbah Quilters to see the quilts they are working on for the Victorian Bush Fire victims. Cane Valley had decided to make a cash donation to the Red Cross.

It was a busy day, Lorraine showed us how to make cloth dolls (and provided a delicious cake for morning tea). Some of the girls had brought along their "babies" for show and tell.
